Houxo Real Estate, LLC (“Houxo,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through houxo.com and through our calls, texts, and emails, how we use it, and the choices you have.
The short version: we use your information to help you buy, sell, or invest in real estate. We never sell your personal information. We text or call you only with your permission, you can reply STOP to any text at any time, and we never share your mobile number or text opt in with anyone for their marketing.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you fill out a form on our website, call, text, or email us, you may give us your name, email address, phone number, property address or the area you are interested in, your timeline, any message you write, and your contact preferences.
Consent records
When you submit a form, we keep a record of the contact choices you made, including whether you agreed to receive text messages or calls, the exact consent wording shown to you, the date and time, the page you used, and your IP address and browser type. We keep this so we can honor your choices and show that we did.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our servers and our hosting and security providers log basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the site that referred you. During your visit, our site may remember campaign details from the link you used (for example, UTM tags) in your browser’s session storage. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
Information from working together
If you become a client, we will also receive information needed to represent you, such as property details, offers, contracts, and transaction documents. That information is handled under your written agreement with us and Utah real estate law.
2. How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and provide the real estate services you ask for, such as home valuations, showings, and buyer or seller representation.
- To contact you using the methods you chose, including text messages, phone calls, and email.
- To send updates about your appointments and transaction and, if you agreed, marketing messages such as new listings and market updates.
- To operate, secure, and improve our website, and to prevent spam and fraud.
- To meet our legal, licensing, and recordkeeping obligations.
3. Text messages
We send text messages only to people who have agreed to receive them, for example by checking the text message box on our website form, or who have asked us to text them. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of buying anything or working with us.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors that support our services, such as customer service and message delivery providers, is permitted. All other categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting and security, phone, text, and email providers, and customer relationship and transaction management software. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- People involved in your transaction, at your direction, such as cooperating agents, lenders, title and escrow companies, inspectors, and appraisers, as needed to complete your purchase or sale.
- Listing services. If you list a home with us, property information you authorize is shared with the multiple listing service (UtahRealEstate.com) and the websites it syndicates to.
- Legal reasons, when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our clients, our company, or others.
- Business transfers, if Houxo is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
The text message protections in section 3 apply to every category above.
5. Your choices
- Texts: reply STOP to any message, or tell us to stop.
- Calls and email: tell us on a call, reply to any email, or contact us using the details below, and we will stop.
- Your information: you can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. We will do so unless we are required to keep it, for example records Utah law requires real estate brokerages to keep.
6. Retention and security
We keep inquiry and consent records for as long as we need them to serve you and to document your contact choices, and transaction records for as long as the law requires. We protect information with reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limited access. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children, links, and changes
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Our site may link to other websites, such as UtahRealEstate.com, whose privacy practices are their own. If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
